i installed the xecutor2 chip on my box but when i try to flash it the bios manager (x2bm) says it cant find the chip or unable to open port. i know the chips installed correctly and it is working, does anyone know what to do?

Silly question, but you talking about X2 lite or X2 Pro? If it's the Pro then check to make sure you've done all these things.
- Make sure the Flash Protect jumper is ON
- Make sure your LPT port is set to EPP (1.9 if possible) or ECP on your motherboard bios.
- Make sure you have the correct i/o setting for your LPT port (in winxp select to use "any" interrupt)
Boot the console. In order to flash the chip you must first boot the console with the X ecuter 2 Pro installed but turned off, this will
cause the console to boot normally and will power the chip so it can be programmed (ALL SWITCHES OFF/DOWN). Then you are set to start up the X2 BIOS Manager Software. _________________ Lefe's too short,
