ok so i moded my box about three months ago and realized how bad i want to get on live, my drive will not lock for the life of me and not sure why. i've tried the xenium os3 menu and it cant evox won't do it either. i also cant get into the microsoft dashboard either all i get is a error 13 message.
where should i start?

You might want to just get a different HD and put that one in your PC. According to xboxdrives.x-pec.com, your drive is probably not lockable. About 50% of them seem to be non-locking drives. _________________ Visit Mid-South Mods for expert mod installation, repairs, and upgrades

What is wild is it looks like more people have got that drive to lock than haven't
Unless I am reading all these YES's wrong??
I see the Xenium Ice OS has locked it, Config Magic has locked it, and EvoX has locked it.
Very strange. I mean, there are people who have also reported they werent able to lock it.
Now, I am not a big hardware guru but I have seen some HD's have the same model number but say OEM after them while others didn't. I have heard of a lot of people having issues locking OEM HD's.
