I am building my own adaptor to hook up a USB thumbdrive to an XBox, and I'm wondering if there is anyone who has tried this with a USB hub. I figure that if I buy a hub, and split the cable, adding a plug so it can be connected and disconnected in the middle, adding the same plug to the breakaway cable I have, I could use the hub on a PC, and then connect it to the Xbox if I want to do a softmod. Just curious if anyone has tried this so I don't waste my money. Thanks for the input.

should work, xbox just uses normal USB but with a proprietory end on it
