I got the three gamesaves for emergency linux, install linux, and reinstall original dashboard for mechassault from this site: http://www.xbox-linux.org/Download Will these work with Version 1.6? Oh yea its a USA XBOX.

Your best bet is to use a softmod autoinstaller such as Ltools or SIN, I see you have MA so Ltools would be the best choice right now.

ok where in the world do I get Ltools? And will the gamesaves work that I got at that site? And what ftp program should I use to back up my eeprom on my computer?
