Hi all
K is 5838 D is 5960
Production date is Oct 5/04. Crystal box Canadian version. Most likely a 1.6b. I have done my reading homework and this is where I am at:
I have rented MA (the good version). I have an Action Replay for moving the saves. I have used almost any save I could get my hand ons and I either get the screen freezing (just hanging) when I load the Linux campagne or I get a brief flicker and then the error code 21 Service Required screen and the from pannel lights flick from red to green (or is that green to red???). Is there a file save that will work on my setup? I have tried mkjones-softmodlite.zip ltools_MA_v1.8.rc1.zip and MechInstaller-1.0.zip (using both the "original" and "updated" folders. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction? TIA

It seems that the version of MechAssault isn't the correct version. Or possibly the game saves are being corrupted while being transfered. That's the only two cases that I can think of. _________________

i would also have to say its prabably corrupt save ,

The code on the game is MS02301L. From what I have read that is the good one. Since it is only a rental copy I'm heading to the store to buy a used copy of 007 AUF and give that a try. I will also return the action replay and try a different type. I'll keep at this because it seems like it should be a pretty easy with the correct tools!

I just did a box with the same version info. I used ltools 1.75 007AUF and selected all of the BLUE button options during the install.
First time failed, but I tried again and it worked.

Well it turned out to be the card that came with action replay. I swapped in a MS card and it worked on the 1st try. I used the ltools rc1 for MA. Now... Ok I have backed up and ftped in and saved everything etc. So now what is my next step? SUggestions on some new features to add to the box? TIA!

Some of my favorite tools are:
dvdx2 dongle free dvd player
dvd2xbox game ripper and patcher
xbmc media player
Those are the 3 that I feel are MUST HAVE apps, a few more good programs, are emulators, and also some nice homebrew games and ports such as "DOOMX" _________________
