Ltools 1.8 will work on any version any region, 1.7.5 will only work on NTSC 1.6, otherwise will work on all other versions (not including 1.6b)

Is there a 1.8 ltools available for 007AUF?

I have 1.75 and the screen goes all funky during the install and the light turns orange.

I dont know if I have a 1.6 or 1.6b. How can you tell?

From the outside you can't easily tell, but even with 1.8 it will go to that wird screen, just give it some time (some people have said up to 2hrs) And the orange led should change to a green flashing light, then it will be finished.

It seems really strange but this is what happened for me.

1) Loaded 1.75 onto memory card and transferred to hard drive
2) Loaded game in 007 AUF and got to install screen
3) Selected all BLUE options during install
4) Screen went funky and orange light for a while until I powered off
5) Tried again but got a script error
6) Transferred from memory card to hard drive again
7) Tried again - this time orange light was on for 10 seconds
