Hi,

Maybe, this is a stupid question, but here goes. I have a softmodded xbox using MXM. No other extra apps installed. Recently, I used the autoinstaller deluxe 1.0 and installed just the XBMC. It seemed to have installed properly, but after rebooting the Xbox and went to MXM, I still could not see XBMC. Should I run XBMC another way? Please help.

As long as you have the dash to auto add any thing that is in e:\apps, it should work it did fine for me and my evox softmod install.

My Dash is the latest MXM. After installing XBMC from the AutoInstallerDeluxe 1.0 DVD, I exit and then open up MediaXMenu. But I don't see any other option on the MXM except the "MS Dashboard" and "Apps Folder", which actually only contains one option, i.e. "Reinstall ST.DB......... " Nothing else.

Shouldn't I suppose to see XBMC under the apps folder? Or maybe I should add it manually...but how?

I figured how to run XBMC from the Auto-Installer DVD. I had to go thru ITools / File Manager / E drive / Apps / XBMC / Default.xbe

But is there a way to put the XBMC icon on the MXM dash? Or do I have to go thru the AutoInstaller DVD everytime I want to run XBMC?

Please help...

I searched all the forums...and it can be overwhelming. Maybe I just missed it or something.

Why don't you install EVOX, that's the king under the dashboards.
If you've installed go edit evox.ini. Laughing
