You can look at a Bank as a storage area. If you have bank 1 or bank 2, those are different areas where a bios is stored, just like you store money at a bank
Difference between an eeprom and a bios is simple. An eeprom is tangible. A bios is not. A bios is code, it's not a chip. The eeprom is a chip that stores certain information that is critical to the operation of your machine.
