so i was playing with the AI disk and decided to try some different Dashboards out. i installed EvolutionX to E and UnleashX to F. Avalaunch was already installed to C drive. i installed Xselect and then things started to go bad. Avalaunch was no longer loading from C (wasn't even showing up on the Xselect Search thing) i formatted the C drive and just installed Avalaunch there. i start up the xbox and it loads Avalaunch but after about 30 seconds it freezes. i installed avalaunch to the f drive and same thing, it freezes after about 30 seconds. i load up EvolutionX from the E drive and it works. so i figure i'll just FTP my games off the xbox and wipe it all and start over. now my next problem is that i no longer have FTP access to my xbox after all this :/ the IP address shows up in the dashboard but when i try to use SmartFTP to get in i get connection timeout. no response from server.. any ideas or suggestions?

OK, you obvisouly didn't read the manual, as I did explain this...
When installing XSelect to a drive, you have to make sure that you rename any current evoxdash.xbe files, to evoxdash2.xbe, evoxdash3.xbe etc... That's why it was overwriting Avalaunch all the time.
Also, double check the the IP addresses in the AI are correct, you may need to change them. Information on how to do that is also in the manual.

yea i didn't see them instructions the first time, but my problems are still continuing :/ Avalaunch contimues to freeze after about 30 seconds even the copy on the f drive where Xselect wouldn't have overwritten anypart of it
edit: i redid the c drive per instructions and same thing is happeneing, the Avalaunch i installed from the AID is freezing after 30 seconds :/ with or without Xselect installed on C
