Have successfully softmodded and upgraded hard drive. I used the auto installer (old version). My question is I have evox on e (from original hd) and have evox on c (auto install). When I boot up my xbox it boots to the one on e I would like it to boot to the one on c so I can use the skins. Can anyone help me.?

i dont know too much about softmodding but .....

if you softmodded it then you still have the oryginal bios which only boots the dash from c:\

if you flashed the bios then you used bios that boots from E:\

and you need to reflash with bios that boots from C:\

It sounds like it's a bios issue, you should however, be able to use skins with the dash on e, just make a skins folder and make sure you set the ini file inside to reflect the skin directory. Like I have my dashboard in E:\dashboard\default.xbe, then my skins directory is e:\dashboard\skins

I just used flashxp to move the files from one folder to next. I would really like the menu set-up of the other dash. Could I just copy the .ini. from the one on e over to c. I used the (e,f,g,) feature. Would this work or would it easier to edit out my own. If I can learn enough I might day make a toolbar that could do such a task for a noob. Thanks

As long as both dashboards are of the same version, it should be no problem to move the evox.ini
