Hey
I got my Xbox moded by a shop ages ago and all he did was flashed the bios, he didnt actually put a chip in, so my question is, can i use SLayers Auto Installer 2.6 to install a new HDD if i have a softmodded bios???
ps. I am not sure if that makes ny sense

Depends on the bios he used, I would assume all you have to do is drop in a hard drive, and use an Autoinstaller. A TSOP flash, basically is a modchip, just without additional hardware. Just there is software explotis that allows you to accomplish this feat. _________________

if the person that flashed your tsop left the bridge points connected then you can reflash the tsop with slayers 2.6 to any bios you want thats available in slayers installer.
version 1.0 and 1.1 tsops need 1mb bioses ,
1.2-1.5 tsops need 256k bioses
so find out what version is your xbox before you reflash ,
as to the harddrive , make sure the jumper is on cable select ,
