Were do I get the passcode to download files. I am a VIP member.

The passcode is just above the box where you type it.
But what are you trying to download? I posted up UXE Complete but because the file size is over 1.5mb I have t ftp it in there. I will try and fix them up later when i get more time. _________________

Are you approving your own downloads?? If so, just delete it if it's not able to be downloaded and then resubmit after you are able to FTP it to the server. That way we won't have dead links getting approved and confuse members.

I can understand why a site like this needs monatary support to keep running and i have no problem with that
but when a site REQUIERS it to do anything but read and post to the forum it smells of a rip off to me
i was directed here by a google serch looking for UnleashX found it. the link had me click to 3 top sits ok np done that befor
then after doing that it told me sorry must be a member to download the file. so i joined figured what the hell i can always use a new sorce of info after 5 tries to sign up i succeded went back to the downloads section to grab the file and it told me sorry VIP only.
so like i said i have np with a site offering premium memberships to support the site but when you go and deceve people in the hope that frustration will get them to pay, I'm sorry thats just plain old theft and after 2 tries to get the file there is NO WAY i will pay a thing just to see if it will work the third time, I don't care if the VIP membership was only a damn penny. I feel that any site that uses such decietful methods to gain paid memberships is rehencable.
well go ahead and delete this just one more way to prove how i feel about this site sofar is correct

Wow, dude. I don't kow what you did, but downloading was nowhere near as hard for me as it seems to have been for you.
I stumbled on the site by accident (Yahoo search, maybe), found that it had tons of files I probably needed (this was before I really knew what I was doing), became a free member (like many sites), and downloaded. It worked so easy, and the site support was so great, that I gave them my money no problem to get full access.
I don't know what sites you had to click on... Is it possible you have spyware on your computer?

I never had a problem downloading specially when i was a non-VIP. there is so much even more so than three months ago when I joined. Dont know why you are having such a problem, but hope youcan resolve it. Plus this site is sooo friendly and dedicated to helping people who have questions who ARENT even VIP's. Plus the VIP member ship is used for the cost that Fora hobby pays for the Bandwidth, to keep this site running. Maybe you should look around and read a bit more as to whatthis site is about and what it contains and who asks what around here, we just payed for the VIp to help with the cost of the Bandwidth and the "friendship" that NO OTHER SITE has. Sorry tot see you have such an issue and hope you do not trully think as you do of this site for it is NUMBER 1 in everyones book around here. Plus you get the added bonus with VIP with different downloads you may need in the future and the ability to have the ONE on ONE help you'll need and everyone gets it in such a timely manner its crazy. But anyways hope you find and get what you need, we are here to help, and DUDE this site ROCKS if you look deeper. Have a good day! anyone else got something to say about what I HAVE??? Yeh and on other sites you prob would have been banned or something, In actual fact there are more downloads in the normal section than the vip section. If I just want to download somthing I just type www.xbox-hq.com, sign in, click downloads, select the downlaod and thats it, I have absolutley no idea what you did, perhas the link you clicked was for a topsites site?
I don't know but everyone here is very friendly and very happy.

Nope no spywear or such, I am ainal about net security
and the link I used to download was from this site not a top site list (checked the url) and no i won't give up on this place just yet i'm to damn stubborn. did some more pokin around after my post found that the torrents do work but not the site hosted downloads. If site hosted files are vip only shouldn't the link not show up at all for non vip members or a redirect to a page saying somethin to the effect?
Many site use such coding and from the obviouse skil of this sites webmaster i don't see a reason why that can't be done here.

Well glad to see you're sticking it out, knightowl. I'm sure we'll all be able to work through this misunderstanding.
This really is a great site, and I've never been any happier with handing over a $10 bill. In fact, once the current competition is over, I'll probably donate more to the site to help with the costs of upkeeping it.
You have to understand that forahobby isn't doing this site to make money. It's just like his name says. He's doing it because he enjoys helping people of this community.
If the $10 won't put you out too much, you should really look into donating. It's totally worth it just to get access to ALL the downloads, plus you get that warm fuzzy feeling of knowing you contributed to a good cause.
But don't rush it. Stick around and talk with the community here. I promise you that you'll like it.

there are two site hosted downloads section, one normal and one vip, the normal just requires forum membership which you got, I just tried to download some random file and worked fine.

There are plenty of free files for download. You are just choosing the downloads that go to the VIP section. Not everything in life is free We have to have separate sections in order to gain some donations. You couldn't imagine the bandwidth that is used on this site. It costs tons. Look at the stats man. Look at how many files are available for downloads, look how much bandwidth is used. Instead of taking five minutes to call a site a rip off, take the three minutes and look up hosting costs based on that much bandwidth usage and then another two minutes in the regular download section to see how many files for free we offer.
If you can find another site that has this many files on it for xbox modding, not too mention the quality of files, then it would be a different story. The fact of the matter is, I have been on many xbox modding sites. All of their downloads are limited to basic files that do not help the xbox hacker. The site owner here and some of the senior members put in loads of time, with no monetary reward whatsoever so we can have the newest files, the latest information, and an avenue for you to find solutions to your problems. Next time before you make a snap judgement about somebody's hard work, take that five minutes and get a clue.

I dubbled checked the link i used and found 2 the one i have been usein the big fancy logo link going to url

and the txt link to the vip section
the file i went after was in the normal User section so dunno
no biggie
looks like any file over 5 megs is vip only so i'll just keep myself to the smaller ones for now as i continue to explore the site and forums
moving on anybody know where a reliable install guide for the alladen Live + chip can be found i grabed several all for my ver of Xbox and they all gave me variouse solder points for L2 L1 BT and D0
don't want to cook my box with the wrong hookup
