where do i start to softmodding a xbox 1.6
i don't want to open my xbox.

Are you PAL or NTSC? Do you have a original copy of Splinter Cell, Mech Assault or Agent Under Fire? Do you have action replay or mega x key or a friend with a modded xbox? _________________

i can get a agent under fire game.
i don't have a friend with a modded xbox.
i can buy a action replay key.
what then?

Ok cool, I have even added some info in the tutorials on how to build your own Action Replay card using a thumb drive, but anyhow, IF you get hold of Agnet under fire, you download the agent under fire evox exploit, transfer that to your Action Replay, then put on your xbox hard drive, now when you boot up the gamesave it will take you to the evox screen. Now you can ftp to your xbox, backup your eeprom, and c drive to your pc, delete all contents of C, and transfer the UXE Complete files.(you can get that off me, i will be ftping it shortly hopefully) Then you cold boot your xbox and it will boot to the evox screen as that is your new dashboard.
At the moment the uxe exploit has done away with the msdashboard completely but if you send me your original xboxdash.xbe and your evox.ini i will fix it up so that you can have it again.
But at the moment just concentrate on backing up your eeprom hdd key etc, and your c partition, then transfer the UXE files.

being a newb is really a bad thing in the sbos scene. I'm one, and all this soft modding and modchiping is got me confused. Happens alot so it really doens't matter. _________________ Is this for which my life I sought?

Well, I thought I had everything ready. Only now meet up with one simple problem. My Xbox won't even let me copy any game saves to the console. I've got a 1.6 and it's a pain. In order to copy the saves, you need to move right and copy the individual saves not the whole group. (you can only delete groups) _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!
