well i think my xbox is screwed up.. i had avalaunch loaded it worked fine for 4 monthes backups, ect. all work fine till 10 min ago.i reset the xbox from playing motto gp 2 backup. insted of going to the avalaunch screen it went to the regular xbox dash... thf... i tried to access the box by FTP and it wont let me connect . over 600 spent i hope all is not lost plz help thanks..... _________________ SE HALO XBOX v. 1.6

Hi,
Sounds like your softmod has been corrupted.. You will probably have to reinstall the softmod as you did the first time.. This is why i always suggest a MODCHIP.. I always hear the stories of SOFTMODS playing up for no good reason..
Maybe 'sjohn' our SOFTMOD moderator and admin here on xbox-hq may be able to help you.. He has done plenty of soft mods..
Im sure as long as you can turn on your xbox and still play originals you can always get everything back to how it was.

i didnt do my soft mod.. i sent it to some one else to do it for me.. i am very comp. iliterate.. i am so lost it's not funny. is there any way i can hook my xbox hd. to my home pc and try and see whats wrong? thanks _________________ SE HALO XBOX v. 1.6

Hi,
I will move this topic into the softmods forums.. Hopefully sjohn will see it and reply to you!
Most of our admins here have not even tried to do a SOFTMOD themseleve and could really only recommend you speaking with sjohn who have done plenty and is our SOFTMOD admin/moderator.

Hey sorry for my recent absense, I'm checking daily on the VIP Tickets and the softmod forum, but if it is anywhere else I have tended to miss it lately. I should be less busy next week when the holidays are finaly fully passed. I've been helping mike via PM and I think we might be close to figuring it out. He is TSOP flashed, so it pretty much is a modchip.
