i want to run an autoinstaller on my softmodded xbox just so it will partition everything correctly and load on all the applicatoins and dashboards. i cant seem to get the autoinsteller cd to work and i think its becasue i have the cromwell bios and not the executer bios, i was wondering if there is anyway to flash the bios on a softmod without any soddering, if so what program is it, and do i need a different bios to run an autoinstaller. keep in mind i can already ftp in so if there is a program that i can just ftp in there to set up my xbox like that autoinstaller would that would be just as good if not better

You shouldn't be running a cromwell bios if you are softmodded. What happens when you try to run the AI? If it is just not loading, you probably need to try a different type/brand of media to burn it to, most people have luck with either dvd-r or cd-rw. You shouldn't have to change your bios, if you feel like you stil need to, let me know how you softmodded your xbox, and I'll try to help you out some more. _________________
