I really dont mean to bother you geniuses but:

1) just got a used Xbox from the Bush States - no, gents not Wagga-Wagga Smile

2) According to the bloke I bought it from it has a faulty internal power supply

3) I have ordered an internal power supply [wif a 110-220V selector switch since Im in the Nordic region] from Lik-Sang.

4) anybody got any experience in replacing these things? Should be a two-screw solution [like so many females Ive known] but if you have any tut-links or summin please help.

5) I have ordered a XBIt modchip for it with on/off switch for going LIVE eventually. Is there any point in soldering the 1-wire reset switch that comes with it?

6) Are you still awake!!??!

Thanks for lis'nin Very Happy

CHEERS

WAAAAAAH! NOOOOO! DONT ASK ME TO WRITE!!!

hehehe Very Happy It would be an honor for a newbie to school the scholars so to speak..

It even seems I managed to get the version of my xbox right as well since its a V1.0 - funny on the Liksang page for the PSU it states "works with all models" yet Liksang Support said it only works with v1.0 ?!?

So, model does not equal version I suppose..could have fooled me.

Keep ya posted!

Cheers!
