I have mission to use xbox-hq on my Xbox (from 2001). I plan to use Linksboks from here: https://www.xbox-hq.com/html/modules.php?name=Xbox_Homebrew&op=view&gid=108&title=LinksBoks but I don't know how to connect my Xbox to internet outside my house. Anyone know how?

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by outside of the house connection. Are you referring to connecting to your modem/router in order to have internet access for browsing?

These days it should be as simple as plugging an Ethernet cord into your Xbox from your modem/router. Nothing needs to be done until you want to transfer files viaFTP. In which case, you’ll just need to get the IP address of the Xbox from your network settings. Some dashboards have the IP on the Home Screen. I hope this is what you’re looking for.

Absolutely. All you need to do is plug an Ethernet cord from the Xbox to your router or modem. If you want to transfer files you can do so via FTP. Most popular is probably Fillezilla

Using the Network Configuration Tool in Fedora, you should be able to add a route between the secondary (Xbox-connected Ethernet adapter) and primary (Internet-connected Ethernet or Wifi adapter) network devices or bridge the two connections.

At the shell prompt, execute the following commands:

  • ipconfig -a (or it may be ip show addr)
  • netstat -ra

Post the output from running these commands.

Try the steps outlined in these tutorials to create a bridge between the two network adapters - Xbox-connected and Internet-connected.

To me, an even better thing to do is to share the Internet-connected adapter's connection with a second network adapter:
