Hello everyone,
This is my first post I recently purchased an Xbox at a Salvation Army Thrift Store

I've already removed a bad capacitor

But next I wanted to do a softmod
I tried several different flash drives
Also tried to use Droid Drive with no success

Is there anyone in the Hamilton area who still mods
Xbox

If not are there any drives that I can buy that will definitely work
That aren't so damn rare and hard to find

Sandisk Cruzer Blade 4GB USB 2.0 are the ones I've had most reliable success with recently ie. I've bought them on more than one occasion and they've worked each time.

But it really is a lottery and what works for one user might not for another simply because they've been made in different factories. The number of ways they may fail to work is seemingly endless too.

Good luck.

Try a USB to SD card adapter and a <=4GB SD card.
