I have downloaded pcsxbox v23, put in a dvd with some games and it works... BUT very slow.
Spyro the dragon: 12fps
Colin Mcrae: 7-9fps
Street Fighter EX plus alpha - 2fps
Crash Bandicoot - doesnt work controller
Need for speed 2 - 5fps
Wipeout 3 - 10fps
Delta Force Urban Warfare: 5-10fps
What happened? It is supposed to be playable but these are unplayable framerates... This cant be normal, there must be something i am doing wrong. What can u tell me guys.

Dont try to run games off of disc always off HDD. And you need to change settings depending on the game. Mainly switching cores does the trick. If 1 core is slow switch to another

I have an older version of pcsx on the HDD, put a couple of games on it(Crash and Need for Speed II) and runs much better, not perfect but playable.
Maybe there are something wrong with lastest version. i will try an older one instead of v23 (v22 or v21) and see what happens. First, i will try v23 from my HDD and then an older version.
My HDD is the original, is tiny, i dont have many free space to put PSX isos that is why i tried from dvd. Maybe i will change it in the future.
Edit: I tried Pcsxbox v21 (redux) with default settings and the performance, although a bit better, is still dissapointing:
Apocalypse: texture errrors, 15 fps
C-12 Resistance: 15-25 fps with no enemy, 5-10 with enemies on screen
Gran Turismo 2 (arcade mode): 15-20 fps with serios stuttering. Unplayable
Soul Blade: 4 fps
Tekken 3: 12 fps
Terracon: doesnt boot for me.
Crash Bandicoot: 15-30 fps
Need for Speed 2: 10-15 fps.

I think that i will skip Xbox psx emulation for now and stay on PC. I want to use CRT filter or scanlines and Retroarch also runs slow for me so i will use epsxe, ssspsx or pscr reloaded instead.
