I got an Xbox today with a Chipped AMD Duo X2 GS blue in colour with a switch for an Xbox Version 1.6 that has the original hard drive but it boots into XBMC I am more familiar with soft mods and I would like to know if this chip can be flashed to use UnleashX instead of XBMC, if so can someone point me to a tutorial and where to get the files for the flashing. _________________ Xbox Halo Green Limited Edition v1.4

You won't need to re-flash the bios. Your modchip will allow you to install any dashboard that could possibly want. you can even install a larger hdd without to much trouble since you have a working chip. Check out AUTO INSTALLER DELUXE by Xbox-HQ. AID has everything you need on the one dvd (with a new version on the way very soon). Here's a link to the AUTO INSTALLER DELUXE forum https://www.xbox-hq.com/html/forum58.html - Burn AID to a DVD-R and boot it in your Xbox and follow the on-screen prompts. It even comes with a handy PDF manual. AID will let you install UnleashX, EvoX, emulators or whatever else you might want. _________________

Great DOA666 thats good to know, I have used SID 5.11 and 5.12 before but then I found Xbox Softmodding Tool V1.1.4 by Rocky5 I will use Rocky's. Is there any need to update the chips bios/software to possibly get better performance or is it already using everything it needs with no update needed?
From my soft modding experience I had to use Chimp to clone the HDD when installing a larger drive do I need to use the soft modding way when installing a larger hard drive or is it more easier by just installing the larger drive and running the AID or Rocky5's disk to install UnleashX? _________________ Xbox Halo Green Limited Edition v1.4

Thank you Xbmcmodsforxbox for your links there is a lot to go through it will take me some time to look at everything properly. I managed to install UnleashX with Rocky5's softmod tool kit but now I will try AID that DOA666 said about and I might remove this chip and put it in a version 1.4 Xbox because I saw some slight graphics blending for a boarder in a window in one of the settings I was viewing and when the Xbox logo boots up with the EVO X logo there is a small section of the top screen that is garbled a bit but so far Halo 2 runs fine on both DVD and HDD. A quick question: because I was using a softmodding tool kit is it still a softmod by using it? I know this tool kit can install to both chipped and non chipped Xbox's as the install option is there for either chipped or no chip but this time around it didnt ask for this option instead it said it has found a new hard drive and asked me if I wanted to continue then it installed very easily. And should I lock the hard drive as per normal for a soft mod but since this is a hard mod I dont know. _________________ Xbox Halo Green Limited Edition v1.4
