Hey everyone does anyone around here know how to make apps or a auto installer for xbox I am thinking about making a huge auto installer but I need some help making the app if anyone knows how to do this type of stuff plz contact me thx.

DJB and I are currently looking into updating AIDeluxe with all of the latest apps, emulators and whatever else Xbox software we can find. If you're interested, all we need from you is a list of what you think should be on it.

There is no one way to make an app. It all depends on what you want your app to do, what you want it run on, whether or not you want to use XDK, OXDK or no XDK. You also need to know how to program in C/C+, Assembly, SDL etc and have VS2003 and XDK for compiling C/C+/SDL and NASM for Assembly. The Intel 10.1 C+ compiler also helps to optimize code prior to compiling so you can stretch that 64MB of RAM
Installers arent really the same as making an app. Things like AID/SID are mainly just an UnleashX dash with custom XML scripting. And its easy enough to learn that simply by looking at the xml files and file structure. You can learn Evox scripting (inferior to Ux) by looking at Slayers and Ava scripting by looking at Babylon 3 GS.

There is no point re-inventing the wheel man. AIDeluxe took months to put together.
Yes I know but I Want to make a autoinstaller that you install on your hard drive and we can use aid for a disk version.

Well, its easy, copy AIDELUXE to a HDD and start editing and adding new features.. Don't forget AIDELUXE ships with a whole bunch of add-on packs as well. (LIKE XDK cough cough). haha _________________ HQ Network:

Uses a patched UnleashX so can run from HDD or disc no editing required.
