Hello all! VIP noob here
So, ok - I checked out the VIP FTP site and found a whole bunch of resources there. (At some point, I hope to understand how to use most of them). I went into the emulators folder and found Mame360. Here are my questions:
1. I noticed that there are two rar files there (Mame360 and Mame360 for retail). What is the difference between the two and do I just chuck it into my modded Xbox360? If so, shouldn't it have a roms folder where I put in my roms?
Thank you and apologies if this has been answered elsewhere. (Tired searching but couldn't find any related topic)

Hi RVN,
The retail dash version is for users who are running the default M$ dashboard and not an alternative homebrew dashboard. Does that make sense? It's been ages since I've used a JTAG - Mine blew up ages ago and I never looked into another. XBOX ONE is so much better.
Also, I thought I had better let you know that this forum and website (XBOX-HQ.COM) is for the original OG XBOX.

Thanks Jamesbw - that makes sense (I think). So I have to use the Mame360 one then.
Now back to my question - what do I do with it? Just put it into my RGH's HDD and make a rom folder? Any advice would be appreciated, this is all new to me
And apologies if I posted in the wrong fourm to begin with.
Best,
