This is just a prototype I haven't gotten it to work yet since I don't have the proper wire strippers/tape but I wanted your guy's opinion.
Remember the XBOX wireless controller receiver? Well the though just came to me why can't we use that as a Xbox to USB receiver for our memory cards? Instead of having those cheap cords we could have something strong and sturdy plus it would be easy to open.
Note: If your going to do this your self I just ask for the credit and nothing else.

Is there not something new that can be done on the xbox. I mean it is 2011.
And you can find so much on the web about the xbox, but they are outdated, but still working though. But some update would be nice.
By the way xboxlinux.org is not active.

It's an out dated system, everything that has been discovered for it has already been done in 2006 I'm sure that someone someday there will be a person that releases something amazing for it I highly doubt it. SPPV is the only person I see that is still making updates so you gotta give him rep for that. But none the less it's like developers trying to get Super Mario Bros 3 to work on the Atari there wouldn't be much of a point in it since we already have things that run or work well.
Look at google for example. Type in Xbox and the results you won't see will be Xbox 1 it would be 360. So in other words most soft modders like to focus on hacking new gen consoles since it's the new thing and like I said they already discovered a permanent softmod for the XBOX and all the parts we need to do it. Plus it's like one of the only systems you don't have to cut or solder to get Emulators.

Yeah, SPPV is the only one who brought an updated softmod Tut with the SID5 Pimped. If I read it before, I'd do it this way. But I got information from the year 2004 and used those tutorials.

Dont forget DJB guys, his stuff always comes first, then I just rework it for a disc based install. You see as many HDD as me it becomes second nature to build an HDD whether its in Windows or using Linux. And there is stil lots to come out Kenneth, Im still working on my Music Mixer Softmod Expoit, theres still getting external fat32 or extfs HDD to work, theres still AID hotswap to facilitate a one time 1 click instal without first modding with SID. Theres still Incredible Hulk, Star Wars and who knows how many other games that have code favourable to causing a buffer overflow but as yet havent been exploited. Theres stil using the weird spelling of XBOX in conjunction with ripping a song to trigger an Easter Egg and use it to run code. Unleashx and Ava and Evox could use a serious working over alng with a Winmount/Magicdisc style program for XBOX for using ISO. New internet programs. The list is endless pretty much there were a few visionaries and everyubody just climbed on top. Im no different I look at what guys like Kingroach did learn from their mistakes and try to make it better.

Informative post right there, things like this keeps me going on soft modding. Hope it all works out well. I'm waiting on the day someone makes a device where you don't have to open your Xbox to use USB flash drives and such. Or maybe an exploit that you could install without the games. Or maybe even to where you can actually mount a Xbox game ISO from your HDD and play it from your xbox without the disc. I was thinking is Daemon tools open source? There's an
