I have softmodded my xbox 1.6 finally and I installed a single boot:
standard RGB. I have hooked both my composite and VGA Frozen cable adapter up to my xbox and I get a funny green tinted picture on the monitor.
Is this selection for a VGA monitor?
I will probably just uninstall the softmod and restore ms dash. _________________

Progressive is for PC monitors RGB I believe is for hi def the red green and blue cables and the special XBOX Hi def adapter. If you want hi def do the HD install it will look fine then when you get the adapter and cables just hook em up
