Hi

Its possible that i can use Sata Hard Drive on my Xbox, using the Sata to IDE converter... Rolling Eyes

I cant find higher gig on IDE for now, so the option is using SATA HDD

You can but there are limitations. First is space most SATA/IDE adapters have a card interface which just wont fit in the drive space attached to a 2.5 SATA HDD. Next issue is XBOXHDM is designed to work with IDE not SATA and people have found out the hard way that some brands/models get frozen security when you try to lock it. Also dont expect SATA data transfer speeds since it will be limited by the IDE interface

That will remove the locking requirement but you still have the space issue. A SATA laptop drive should work nice, I used an IDE laptop drive and with the adapter there was room to spare
