First of all, sorry, I'm new to chimp.

I've softmodded my xbox v1.1 with XBMC installed as the dash, and have chimp installed as one of the apps. If I start up chimp (from the xbmc file manager) the screen clears, and all I get is the start of the boot up sequence - 3 lines in fact:

"Xbox Linux XBEBOOT 2.2dev
Aug 12 2004 - http://xbox-linux.sf.net
(C)2002 Xbox Linux Team - Licensed under the GPL"

The startup sequence stops there, however long I wait it doesn't get any further...

I must be doing something really silly, but I'm not sure what - could anyone offer any hints please?

Thanks wes, I cleared the E Cache folder and tried again, but got the same result. After installing xromwell, moving some stuff about, and reconfiguring I did eventually get chimp running on the E drive.

So I've now cloned my disk using chimp, onto a Samsung 250Gb disk - chimp's cloned the C and E drives, but I've still got no F partition, although I'm sure the space is there ready for a nice big F drive.

Am a bit concerned that the Samsung, which is a 7200rpm disk, gets *much* hotter than the older 8-10Gb disk - with a much hotter disk I need much better xbox ventilation and cooling. Or a different (cooler) disk...
