Alright, so I softmodded my xbox with Splinter Cell and upgraded the HDD (i believe i used a version in the 4's). Everything works great, unleshedx boots up fine, then I went to bed. The next morning i start my xbox and it goes to the microsoft dashboard instead of the unleashedx dashboard. So i was like "Oh well, ill just uninstall then reinstall." I uninstalled and reinstalled, everything installs FINE. Xbox reboots, i press A to complete the final step. I start the xbox again with no disc, EXACTLY how the directions said and boom it only boots to the xbox dashboard. What is going on here? I can access the unleashedx dashboard by loading into the linux softmod using splintercell then using the filemanager to execute the unleashedx.xbe. What is going on here someone please help.
For quick refrence:
1. I installed softmod on UPGRADED hdd, worked fine initially.
2. I went on my xbox the next day and it booted to MS dashboard instead of UnleashedX dashboard.
3. I reinstalled softmod and it STILL boots to Microsoft Dashboard
4. I dont know whats going on, please help.

I used a pc to transfer a clean dash, then i installed the exploit on the clean dash.

dam now that has gotta suck man, I run a few softmods myself but this is the exact reason i always suggest trying to install a modchip.. With a modchip you can always boot AUTO INSTALLER DELUXE and format/repair anything which is wrong..
With softmod there is alot more too it.
I have only one question for you:
1. Did you play a fairly recent xbox 1 game and it updated??
If it did you may need to start the softmod process again.
I had it working at one point in time but i unplugged my xbox and now it boots to MS dash.. any way to get it to load softmod? i uninstalled and reinstalled but it keeps booting to MS dash and i dont remember what i did to get it to boot to the softmodded dash.. lol.
