Hello Everyone, I ran into a problem when trying to upgrade my xbox HD from a 8 to 160GB heres what happened:
1. I got Xbox HDM burnt it to a disk with xbox eeprom. XBOX v1.6
2.Did everything fine until I went to lock the drive and it wouldn't, So not thinking I decided to manually type the HDD key but accidently hit enter in the middle of typing it in so it lock the hardrive to something unknown and It will not unlock it at all.
Is there anyway to fix this problem at all? or can I use another xbox v1.1 which runs chimp to unlock it with?
P.S. Also I've made three of the same disks using the same xbox eeprom and it didn't help and tried to load up Config Magic then change the HD to the bigger one and try to unlock it but it won't

Pop the HDD in to your PC and do a full format.
