Hello, I have Xbox that I modified successfully with ndure/unleashx softmod and changed HDD to 20GB.
My friend`s Xbox died (bad HDD). Is it possible to copy contents from my original HDD using the password from the second Xbox?

If by password you are talking about the eeprom then yes.

That`s right, I just need original contents to put on new HDD and after that to softmod it. Well, the only problem is that I don`t know what version is his xbox. Will have to wait for him to bring me console. I have 1.0, this will not work with 1.6 or previous versions?

No man it should work just fine with any VER. of xbox, like i said as long as you got a copy of his xbox eeprom then your good to go.

I sure will, but I`ll have to wait for buddy to bring it from other city. It can take for ever, considering him, but it`s his Xbox that died
