Alright, so I uninstalled my UnleashX softmod without making a backup of the MSdash. Now for my question. I read that I can restore my Xbox's MSdash with a hotswap, but how would I go about doing this? I don't want to completely break my system. i just need help with the actual hotswap, I already have prepared my Xbox (removed the bottom of the console already). Thanks in advance.

Does the msdash need to be installed for this to work?

I dont think so man, if your using the xboxHDM way then HDM will install the MS dash and with explorer 360 you can install it yourself.

As long as you got that eeprom.bin file you should be good to go to fix most anything.

Oh wait, I have another question. I have a softmodded Xbox other than the one with the error, is there some way to fix the error Xbox with the softmodded one?

Ok so i guess you don't have the eeprom, will the error xbox boot an original xbox game?
As for question 2 the answer would be no.

Unhook the Ethernet cable from the xbox and put in the newest live enabled game you got, now just go to the live play and try to get it to do the dash update and see what happens.
