You will want to go with the ver.4.50 and you just need a bit client to download it such as azures or bit comet.
With the down load it will have all the guides you need to burn the AID ISO to disk, from there you just need to do a one click install with the dash of your choice and install any Apps you would like from the disk.
As for putting in the new hdd you just need to open the xbox and remove the old hdd and install the new one.
AID 4.50 will do the rest so if you need any more help just let us know.

hi,
Since you have a modchip installed already it will be very simple for you to upgrade your hdd, format or whatever.
Just download AIDeluxe or XBMC Instlaler Deluxe from the aidtracker.com then burn it to dvd and pop it in your xbox to make sure it boots.
When you get AID or XBMCI to boot open your xbox and change out your hdd with the new one, then boot AID again and it will format automatically and let you install whatever dashboards you want.
When installing dashboards be sure you choose to install from the dashboard (modchip) install menu.

im already in mass confusion on the subject of the aid compiler, or iso updater, dont know what files to choose, or which ones i need, can somebody simpiify it for me? Auto-Installer Deluxe ver 4.5 is what im working with. all simple advice is absolutely appreciated. im doing this for my 11 year old, so it dont need to be anything fancy just be able to copy games from dvd to hd and play them.

For the most part the add ons are just skins and such so you could just burn the ISO as is and it will still have all you need.
