Hi all, I'm new here, I read all the guides and checked dash version but after trying to install the new dash EVOX using SID 5 it just looked the same. I thought UHHH, isn't it supposted to be different?
So I though I'd try again and see if it'd work but this time I tried unleashX. Bad Idea essecally on a TV which is very blured annd can only make out a little writing. Everytime I try a disk like slayer or loading the SID 5 through Splinter Cell I get nothing, With SC Iit goes white and restarts the game and with slayer it give the usual crap about servicing and the error code 21.
I'm really stuck for ideas now. wondering to get agent under fire to try getting in to the SID 5 but first I need advice.

I got in to sid 2 and restored my backup but I'm afraid to shut down my xbox incase the thing won't restart. help me I really don't want to bugger it up.

It's good that you were able to restore you dash. That's one thing you always want to have.
Consider doing a fresh install. Delete all your SC gamesaves, then reload the SID5 exploits. There are dual boot options, just in case you plan to still using xbox live. Otherwise, a fresh install and a single boot with a simple dash like evox will get you started.
Also, AID is a nice tool to have once you have you xbox modded. That will allow you to change dashboards to one that will suit your set up.

I got EvoX on my xbox but the MS DASH is red but that isn't to bad as it won't be going on xbox live.
I got a 360 for that.
also, can someone advise me on homebrew and apps that a great. I know about the XBMC but don't know much about the xbox so I'm not comfy with editing it yet.
