Posted: Fri May 29, 2009 4:54 am Post subject: EvoX Softmod Restoration help....PLEASE!
Ok so I got a softmodded xbox with the EvoX dashboard. The Xbox has been running smoothly for many months till now. My friend tried burning music onto the Xbox using DVD2Xbox and now it's kinda messed up. Everytime I boot the Xbox, the same skin appears as I had before except the only applications that appear are "MS Dashboard, Reboot, Power Off, Settings, and Backup". So I followed the Softmod Restoration process (Splinter Cell, Linux, restore C Drive Backup) and when I restart the Xboxt, the same options come up.
I really don't know what to do from here. I'm pretty sure everything is still on the hard drive, I just can't seem to restore the Softmod setup. Any help is much appreciated!

can u FTP inside the xbox, n do u have a copy of ur eeprom when u softmodded the xbox?

Personally i would backup your eeproms and stuff and do a full format and reinstall of your softmod.. This way it will fix any probs..
