Ok, i have a problem that i do not now how to fix, i have checked other posts but no one else seems to have my problem. I have had an old X3 sitting in my closet and have finally decided to use it, i had an xapter 1.6 and i have installed both the xapter and the chip in my xbox to what i assume to be correct because i followed the directions. Now the problem, when i power on my xbox it comes on for a second then goes back off, then comes back on, then goes off, comes on once more then shuts down completely. can some one please help me out? thanks alot.

Sounds like it could be a problem with the D0 point, or a corrupt/missing bios on the chip. Have you tried booting the X3 in recovery mode (pressing both power and eject buttons simultaneously)?
