I would like to run an ISO of a game off of my HDD (NBA Live 07), after doing some googling around I came across info regarding NKPatcher, so I acquired it and now I want to install it on my Soft Modded Xbox, but I'm unsure how to do this safely without fraggin my setup. I'm currently running an Unleash X dashboard with the Virtual C drive on a v1.1 Xbox with a 250 GB HDD. I installed the dash with Auto Installer 4.30 Lite last year, when i read the manual it mentioned NKpatcher, but I was a little lost as to whether it automatically installed it or not. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
Hello, Im a little confused as to what you`re trying to achive.
If you just want your games stored on your hard drive so you can play them without inserting the DVD just use DVD2XBOX to rip them to your hard disk, its the best program for the job and patches the games accordingly (Its on the AID disc, use AID to install it to E/apps or F/apps). _________________
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I already have DVD2Xbox on my Xbox. I'm trying to play NBA live 07 from the HDD, and it gives me the "Dirty Disc Error" when I try to play the backup on HDD. So I read that you had to use DVD2Xbox to create an ISO of the game, and use NKPatcher to load the ISO. I downloaded NKPatcher 10 from Xbins, but I'm not sure how to install it on my Xbox. I don't want to screw anything up, but after looking around I haven't found a clear answer on how to install NKpatcher on an Xbox that is already soft modded.
