I know this is totally off topic from the xbox community, and since pc-hq is practically dead. it'll never get answered. but why is pc-hq.com coded in PHP and not in HTML like xbox-hq?? pc-hq has sum annoying errors and PHP is not as fun as HTML. HTML gives more choices for coding and its alot easier and simpler. so why cant PC-HQ be coded in HTML?? _________________ http://firestream.net/h4sigs/gen/BlAcKk%20MaGiiK_130515060912.jpg

all our sites are php.. I use some tricks to display our pages as html to your browser... pc-hq is nowhere near finished and we have not many guys helping right now so its on the bottom of my list..
if only i had the time my friend..
I am the only person who is designing and coding the HQ's..
I am spending most of my time trying to keep up with email & pm support alone. Our latest site 360-hq is the most up-to-date HQ site.

ohh my badd. well i can help. im not the best at php but i suppose i can try. i use dreamweaver cs4 so it pretty much does it for me.
the sites are still designed in html.. Its just because we have dynamic content and not static (that never changes) we use php to generate our html pages..
Its pretty technical but easy to understand if you have a grasp basic pc stuff.
Good to see you active around the network too mate.. We find it hard to find good team members..
If you want to help, i am trying to get the 360-hq website up-to-date and the smallest possible loadtimes, page sizes, images etc and new features like blogs, game tracking and then convert my whole new setup to XBOX-HQ.
Im only adding little updated to XBOXHQ at the moment due to time restrictions..
i built a few webpages b4 but i coded them in html. i know alot more than the simple basic computer stuff. afterall im the IT guy at my highschool. i can give it a try, but cant promise anything. never done php b4. i also play my 360 all the time on the weekends. _________________ http://firestream.net/h4sigs/gen/BlAcKk%20MaGiiK_130515060912.jpg

all good mate.. It's not that simple and i would be throwing you in at the deep end by the sounds of it.. Maybe after you finish some of your own projects coding in php..
thanks for the offer though.. You can help much easier by just submitting stuff to the site via our SUBMIT/INTERACT menus.. This way your html skills can come in handy for laying out tutorials and news etc.
Have a go at submitting some html news and tutorials..
