Ok, had a few more problems with my softmod so got a solderless chip and it's working fine and have XBMC on. Anyway my question is, the version of XBMC I have is an old one so I've downloaded the latest version and want to install that but if I install it will it overwrite any of the tv programs I've downloaded and ftp'd to my xbox?

When updating XBMC the only thing that will get removed is the XBMC folder so make sure you back up the XBMC userdata folder and any scripts or skins you have added.

Happy to help, im just glad its XBMC and not the other out dated trash dashes the noobs insist on using.
Evox and unleash are out dated and dead, keep up or get left behind. LMFAO

Its me saying that the old out dated crap dashes out there need to be put to bed and the world needs to get on with the new tools.
Its called an opinion and in mine there is nothing the old dashes can do that XBMC cant so why use them.

Unleashx is easier to use and I don't use any of the extra's XBMC offers so I don't need it _________________
