I have backed up all my XBOX games to my PC and put them to ISO to be backed up on disc.

Someone stole all my back up disc's and originals during a burglary while I was on vacation a few months ago so I recently got a lager HD for my XBOX and I have been using qwix to extract the ISO's and FTP them into the XB's HD.

Ok now I get a folder that I ftp over but I was wondering if I need the entire folder or if I can save space by only transferring one file or something in the folder instead of the entire thing? For instance Psyvariar has like 10 folders and a few files one is a default.xbe. Can I just use the xbe or does the entire folder need to be placed on HD?

Thanks!

The xbe is like an exe for your PC, with out the other files and folders the xbe has nothing to launch so yes you need to put all the files and folders associated with the game to the HDD in order to run a game.

Well that will help you save a small amount of space here and there but not so much as to save you hours of transfer time or anything.
