Hello ~ I'm Needor...and I'm a N00B
I just installed SID4.NK launcher and Splinter Cell loader files. Followed all the softmod steps and it all seemed to installed just fine. After reboot I get the Unleash X blue startup screen with all the familiar options. Everything seemed ok. I want to change the dash to XBMC, so I connect using a crossover cable and FlashFXP. When it connect I get all of the folders. When I click on the E drive folder though, I dont see Dashboard, Apps, Emulators, etc. What happened? Without those folders I pretty much can't load anything...right? How do I fix it? Thank you for any help you can offer.

When you modded the xbox did you load any applications? If not then the apps folder won't exist. Make a folder when you are connected via your ftp program called "apps" and ftp an updated version of xbmc - google t3ch.
It sounds like you're bios is selecting the default dashboard from the c directory so it's there that you'll change the xbe. I use the shortcut method which redirects to e:/apps/xbmc/default.xbe. You'll know what i mean when you read the link above.

He is running a softmod so if he was to use the shortcut method he will crash the xbox, sounds to me like when the xbox was modded who ever did it used a virtual C drive so a bunch of the folders get hidden so you cant delete them or over wright them.
If you want to use XBMC try downloading AID 4.30 and go to the softmod section and unmount the virtual C drive (some times you got to run this twice since the first shot doesn't always take) and then run the softmod install option with XBMC as your selected dash.
