Ive been away for a long long time, and I was wondering if any of you would be so kind as to filling me in on how to upgrade my old SID to the new one.
Ive looked to tuts but to no avail.

Hmm maybe if I rephrase what I said...
I need to know if I have to uninstall my old version of SID before I upgrade.

I would uninstall the old version if I was you. Then just put the new save files on the xbox and install SID 5. _________________

I dont know where my mem card is, so can i just copy the files to my xbox, and replace the files with the new ones from SID 5 and just open the xbe? Or boot it from SC? _________________ Death becomes you.

Is there any real reason you want to change the ver. or is it just to have the most up to date?

Then i wold say your best bet is to remove the softmos and reinstall it but you said you dont have your mem card so you could use xboxhdm and a copy of your eeprom to rebuild the hdd with a copy of the sid5 installer and game save exploit all ready in the Udata folder.

He could just FTP the save files over while its still modded with 2.0. _________________

I cant FTP for some reason. When i try and use FlashFXP, i cant seem to connect to my xbox. I have the new Version FiOS router. IDK if that has anything to do with it. I also have my xboxs IP set to auto, should i manually set it? _________________ Death becomes you.

well ive gone and done something wrong. I restored my ms dash and now i cannot boot my system. i get error code 14 lmfao i mustve forgot something lol, anyway to get it to boot without doing a hdd rebuild.... i dont feel like hooking it up and waiting for it to finish..... _________________ Death becomes you.
