i used the hdm prog to copy files to a compatible hdd it says it locked and after checking hdd keys matched but when installed in xbox i get error 13????

your xbox cant find your dash so check your file structure.

Is that what error 13 means? I had that a while back after using chimp to clone a drive and i thought it just meant the drive was incompatible. Are you saying that the drive could work but its the file structure that is corrupted?

Most of the time yes, its just a bad or lost file.
juize77: i got your PM and if you still have the original HDD for the xbox and the xbox is not a 1.6 i would use chimp to clone the drive, xboxhdm is a pain compared to chimp.

do you know which file i should double check for and where it should be? or where can i get a download of chimp??????????

For error 13 check to make sure the C drive is stock and the dash files in E from the softmod dash are all there and in the right place, if that gets you no ware fast try looking to see if the game save exploit you used is still there.
If you still need to start over with chimp you can get it with the AID download or see if Final Cloud knows ware to get a copy.
