Most of you will probably say the thickest person in the world once you have read this:
Ive just downloaded a newer version of XMBC.. Copied it over to the XBOX (e:/apps/mediaplayer/xmbc/) and hey presto, nothing works no more....
Im litterally talking about no menu, no sound, zilch! Also... the connection to the xbox has gone
Sorry to be an ass but how the hell can i fix it!

Well you need to try putting it in like this (e:/apps/xmbc/)

Well, i figured maybe put it in the same place as the previous version was so im guessing i did it wrong...
Any tips on how i can get it back online? Like i said, the whole screen has gone black.. i hold in the on button for the chip to start and then after the first XBOX loading screen, nothing...
And the damn thing isnt connecting via FTP now at all so i cant even undo my mistakes... Im guessing these signs are not good.

Sorry to be a pain but where could i get hold of AID... ive got the EVOX disc here but it wont load for some reason, there's a few surface sratches on the disc but nothing that should trouble loading....
Also, will it burn onto a cd-r disc? Ive got a dvd drive but it doesnt accept dvd-r, only dvd+r so im hoping its like evox and will go on a cd-r...

Depends on your xbox disc drive, some do and some don't.

Ok, ive just got hold of AID 4.3.0 and other little tools to go with it such as add-ons and emulators...
The actual file itself is small enough to fit on a normal cd so i followed the readme pdf file on how to put it on disc etc... Done that, it took 17 minutes burning it to disc on a X1 speed so there would be no errors... Put it in the xbox... nothing
Just opened the ISO file up to see what lies beneath its murky surface and... no executable files to put on disc so obviously i needed to put the iso on disc using dvd decrypter...
Anyone able to point me in the correct direction?

The Aid download has a full guide with it that tells you all you need to know about AID.
