Posted: Mon Jul 14, 2008 1:05 am Post subject: Softmod with SID4.5 then upgrade with AID4.30
I was given a Xploder mem card with SID4.5/SC exploit but no USB cable so that I can softmod my new xbox. Is there anyway of updating this mem card with the latest SID without the usb cable?
I do have a spare hard modded Xbox to utilise by the way.
Also I have a Xbox controller to female USB cable and I tried following the guides on this site to copy the exploits to a USB stick. However none of my Xbox's like my Sandisk Cruzer 4GB and 8GB usb cards even though they have been formatted. I was getting the usual 'damaged' error and do not get prompted to format the USB stick with FatX.
As I already have 4.5 SID on the Xploder and the latest AID4.30 burned ISO, is the above necessary? Can I just exploit with 4.5 and update with 5.01 via the AID4.30 DVD?
Or should I just buy another smaller cheap USB stick?

No man you should be good to go, just soft mod with the Sid you have and then use AID to re-soft mod it.
