I heard that the mortal kombat roms run smoother in an older ver. of mame but i can't find it. all i pretty-much play is fighting games and KI 1 & 2 run perfect in KIxxx, now I just want to run MK ! & 2. if someone can help me I'd appreciate it. thanks!

well there you have 2 choices or you can use both.
first there is mamex-b6 which runs mk1 and2 flawlessly.
or there is mameox0.72 which plays mk1,2,3 and ultimate mortal kombat.
when playing mk3 and ultimate on 0.72 the sound is a bit low so you have to put the volume up.
