So my friend was messing with my xbox and he was messing with my aid cd and formatted my whole hd which is the stock so its ok but now im getting error 13..how can i reinstall the msdash to recopy my sid on my hd to use the splinter cell?

If you got a copy of xboxhdm and your eeprom then your half way there.

then with ur eeprom, you can reformat ur xbox hdd

i run the program when it starts up and everything seems to work fine...i press the number 1 and than i put xboxhd than it says ^this script assumes/dev/hda is the device to be used for creating or recieveing an xbox hd. No disk drive found on ;dev;hda (primary master) than it says
root@xbox-hdm12...than i can type anything but i dont know whats going on

Are the DVD drive and HDD on the same IDE?

also if this helps i have a chipped xbox....is there a way i can just plug the hd on my chipped xbox and go from there...maybe ftp the stuf i need?

Since you have a chipped xbox just pop the aid disk in and reinstall everything. _________________

i tried to put the hd on my mooded box and pop in aid but i keep getting an error msg 7 for the hd....

Error 7 is an HDD timeout. Make sure that the ide is plugged in all of the way. _________________
