Hello Everyone,
I have heard everyone here is really nice so i thought i would get help here.
Out of nowhere i got an error 16, so I brought an Xecuter 2.6CE modchip for my xbox V1.2, i installed that with no problems.
i also have a new hardrive installed.
i turn on the xbox and it comes up with FlashBios 3.0.1. i have no idea what to do now. i downloaded slayers auto installer 2.7 and burnt that to dvd, i insert it into my xbox and it doesn't do anything.
I've tried to flash the bios with Evox M8, it didnt seem to do anything.
what do i have to do now, i just wnat to get xbmc and a dashboard like evoulution x installed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the HQ man, we hope you enjoy this and the many other HQ sites.
Try downloading AID 4.20 here: http://www.aidtracker.com/ look over the read me file and add the add on packs, it has a built in bios flasher or you can look this over and see if it helps to get you on track: http://www.team-xecuter.com/flashbios/ its for the 3.0.3 but works damn near the same.

i"ve flashed it before but when i turn the xbox back on it has exactly the same screen as it did before the flash, should that be right?
and should i beable to boot a disc when the FlashBios screen is appearing?

If your getting the same screen the flash did not take, make sure the flash protection switch is turnd off.
What method did you use to flash it?
We try are best to get to questions as fast as we can but i been running slow the last few day since i got a bad tooth and have been eating penicillin and Vicodin for the last 3 days. LOL

I've been using the http transfer through the browser, the xbox says it uploading the bios and then it turns off.
is there a better way?
What is a good hacked bios for xbox 1.2?

any 512k X2 Bios should do fine just get the newest you can dig up.
As for my tooth I'm sure it will be fine since the doc hooked me up with the pills and i got a dentist appointment on Monday.
Its 3:00 am here so if you need more help i will hit you back when i wake up, pills are kicking in and I'm about to pass out at the keyboard.

Wes I will be over at your house pretty soon. I have a new set of pliers that I have been dying to test out and this looks like the perfect situation in which too test them out. Anyhow don't worry about the pain during extraction of the tooth your body will naturally make you pass out if it hurts too much.This should be really cool since this is actually my first time taking out a tooth! _________________

Thanks for the offer but I'm almost sure the tooth is fine, a filling fell out and i got crap in it so I'm sure they will just wait till the infection gets out and re-fill the tooth.
Till then i will keep typing slow and eating the painkillers the nice doc gave me.
Last night i fell asleep twice setting at my PC trying to post help, guess i need to brake the pills in half. LOL

Everything is going excellent now thanks mate i ended up installing a different bios to the one i first flashed and slayers disc worked straight away.

Good to see your up and running bro and you might want to give AID 4.20 a try, more Apps and tools unlike slayers it is still being up dated and getting better every time.
