Hey, I've Been Looking On The Site And I See A Lot Of People Getting Help... So I Thought Ill Try
Right. My Brother Brought Me A Second Hand Xbox For My Birthday, Its Always Saying Its Got 50,000+Blocks Left For Memory, It Don't Read Normal DVDs. It Only Reads Copied DVDs, And About 15% Of The Time It Don't Read The Xbox Game, Me And My Brother Was Thinking That The Xbox Was Chipped/Modded, If So, I Think All The Files Has Been Deleted, So What Files Would I Need To Install?, And Would You Be Able To Link Me In The Right Direction Please,
Thanks,
Micky

What does the XBOX do when it comes on? Do you see any other Logos besides the normal ones you see on the XBOX you already have? If so, you might just need to run AID on your new one. Depends on if it's a soft or hard mod, on what you need to do it. "Need more info" is what everyone is going to tell you. _________________

It Loads Up Normal, But When I Put A DVD In It Says Something Like "Your Xbox Can Not Read The Disk, It Is Dirty Or Damaged" It Also Says That Sometimes When I Put A Xbox Game In, Would I Be Able To Install A "Auto-Installer" ?, Any More Questions?, I Might Be Able To Answer XD

The "disk dirty or damaged" message you're seeing could be the result of a faulty drive, which would also explain why it doesn't play games either.
When you say it loads up as normal, do you mean it goes to the normal MS green dashboard?
Then it has no mod on it. No AID needed. Sounds like you might want to clean your laser lens or possibly need a new dvd-drive. _________________

I wouldn't say that your box is modded necessarily. Pretty much every box i know shows 50,000+ blocks left, modded or not, cos when you just have game saves, few cd's etc, its not enough to bring that total down.
Its more likely that the box is standard, but the DVD drive has become faulty. Might be worth seeing if you can get a replacement drive.
Thanks, Ill Try Cleaning The Laser Lens, And Then See Where That Gets Me
Thanks Again
If That Dont Work, What Should I Try?

If you haven't done that before then be very, very careful. You can do more damage than good if you don't do it right. If no, then just google it. There might be something around here about it also. _________________

Something alcohol based is good, something like meth spirit and a soft cloth.
