I run a linksys wrt54g ver 5 and a ver 2
The older ones are better since you can reflash the firmware with thibor 15 c and run kai off the router and dont need to use the PC for it.

No prob man, and you dont need the router to run kai its just a nice option, you can run kai from your pc and lock on to it from the xbox.
(tip) kai runs best with XBMC as your dash.

check out www.dd-wrt.com I flashed my linksys router with this firmware and you wouldnt believe what it makes a router capable of. You can make it a repeater, bridge, access point etc. Check the supported devices but this is by far the best hacked router firmware out there! _________________

I got some freeware app on my pc that lets you recover a bad flash by unpluging the router, and when you plug it back in the power light will flash real fast, run the app while its flashing and boom it will re do your firmware.
I need to dig that app up since it worked for 2 of my 3 bricked routers.

Well as it happens I have no purchased a WRT54GS....yes it will use the cutdown version of the DD-WRT firmware but aslong as it serves my needs then I am happy. _________________ XBOX V1.6
