I softmodded my XBox with SID and AID about 6 months ago or so. I'm thinking of trying out XBox Live, however, I can't remember exactly what I read about wether I can or can't use XBox Live with my modded Xbox. If you could point me to some information or provide me with an quick explanation that would be very helpful.

Well if you did a dual boot when you modded it you can play live without getting baned.

If you dont have a live account already you will have to uninstall the softmod and make the account. Then once the account is made you reinstall the softmod, choosing the duel boot option, then the ms dash/hack dash option. This will make it so when you turn your xbox on with the eject button it will go to the xbox dashboard allowing you to play on live.
If you already have an account then you need to uninstall the softmod then install the duel boot softmod as i said. Btw what version of SID are you using? _________________

also xlink kai might be something of interest to you! theres always (at the mo) a game of halo 2 on the go and i find that satisfys my online needs plus no subscription, i think if ur hard drive ist stock (ie a larger hard drive then comes in the box) then i dont think u can go on live withour getting banned
