I noticed that xbox-scene.com doesn't look to be affiliated w/ xbox-hq.com I was wondering if there was any specific reason why. Before I was aware of what a great site this is I was constantly on xboxscene.com. I was just wondering about this. As a comparison- this site is better, way better. A response time is uber fast over here compared to other sites. Thank you for your time.

We are not linked to X-S in any way since we do things diffrent here, we dont flame you for not knowing, we dont tell you to google something if we can just tell you, and we think of this site as a family not just a site.
So what it comes down to is we dont like the help we got from them so we come here, Hobbs the site maker and DJB the maker of Auto Installer Deluxe have set up a site for all of us that got sick of not getting help and got sick of being made fun of not helped.
X-S is a good site gone wrong but thats not the way we do it here, we got it right and plan on keeping it that way.
Hope that tells you what you needed to know.

Back when i was modding my first xbox with a chip back in april, i posted a topic there about my hyperx. I couldn't figure it out and that was the only place i knew of. Well lets just say 6 days later i finally fixed it and i went back to check, still no answer after 6 days. _________________

Welcome to the HQ man.
As wes said, we're more of a family here and as you can probably already tell from the responses you've had, we try to answer any questions you have to the best of our ability, without slating you in any way.
Besides from the general responses / response time differences between the sites, most of us have had run-ins with members of X-S in the past.
So, if you need anything, just shout. There's always loads of us around to help.
